Community Care Groups

“We love God, and we teach His truth – we care for one another in fellowship, communion, and prayer.”

Loving God –Serving People – Building Families of Faith

Community Care Group Ministry began in October 2019.  Groups meet every other week (nights vary by group) and parents of AWANA kids meet every Wednesday on campus from 6:30 PM to 8 PM.  Join a Care group and you'll experience friendship, growth, prayer and a better understanding of your faith.  Contact the Church office or see a ministry leader on Sundays to learn more.

Our world is growing darker.  As Christ-followers, we must be fully equipped to effectively fulfill the calling God has placed on each of our lives to be His light in a dark place. Reunion’s Equip Adult Education Program will equip every believer to:

  • Learn and grow as a follower of Christ with a deeper understanding of how to 1) become a student of God’s Word, 2) strengthen your prayer life, 3) apply His Word and instruction to daily life.

  • Navigate the challenges of life and relationships in a way that is pleasing to God, produces growth and fruit in our own lives, and encourages those around us.

  • Influence the lives of those around us towards Christ.

  • Serve the people God places in your life in a way that honors Christ.

The new Equip Education Series begins on Sunday, January 16th at 9 am. Two courses will start, and each course is eight weeks long.  Childcare is available.

Course Descriptions:

Course Title: Handle With Prayer

Course Instructor: Brian Vales

Text: Handle with Prayer,  Author: Dr. Charles Stanley

Course Introduction: Would you sometimes rather worry than pray? Is it that you really don’t expect God to answer, or might not like the answer that He gives? Or have you become discouraged with your own inconsistency in the discipline of prayer, and given up?

When we communicate with our Creator and seek His divine help, He will hear and help navigate us through cares, worries, fears and challenges we all face in the present time.

When we align ourselves with His purposes and plans, understand why we pray, how to pray and the power in prayer, we will be more effective in our Christian walk.

Who Should Take This Course: This is a 100-level course for anyone who
desires to deepen their prayer life and learn to hear from God.

Course Title: Improving Your Serve

Course Instructor: Steve Merryman, MBA

Text: Improving Your Serve by Pastor Chuck Swindoll

Course Introduction: This wonderful class embodies the very heart of who Reunion is. Pastor Swindoll describes our upcoming study this way: "We are going to look at Biblical answers on how to live an unselfish life... how to be a people-helper, to serve rather than
receive, give rather than striving to get and keep. Isn't this what Jesus modeled and taught? Wasn't He the One who said He didn't come to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom? In our study, we are going to look at the servant as a leader, a giver, a forgiver, and a forgetter. We are going to look at examples of servants, the influence of a servant, and the perils of a servant. We will also look at the consequences and rewards of serving. And finally, we are going to assault today's monument of I, Me, Mine, and Myself!”

Who Should Take This Course: This is a 300-level course designed to equip believers to answer Christ's call to service.

Acts 2

The Fellowship of the Believers

And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
