Community Care Group Ministry began in October 2019.  Groups meet every other week (nights vary by group) and parents of AWANA kids meet every Wednesday on campus from 6:30 PM to 8 PM.  Join a Care group and you'll experience friendship, growth, prayer and a better understanding of your faith.  Contact the Church office or see a ministry leader on Sundays to learn more.

Equip

Our world is growing darker.  As Christ-followers, we must be fully equipped to effectively fulfill the calling God has placed on each of our lives to be His light in a dark place. Reunion’s Equip Adult Education Program will equip every believer to:

  • Learn and grow as a follower of Christ with a deeper understanding of how to 1) become a student of God’s Word, 2) strengthen your prayer life, 3) apply His Word and instruction to daily life.

  • Navigate the challenges of life and relationships in a way that is pleasing to God, produces growth and fruit in our own lives, and encourages those around us.

  • Influence the lives of those around us towards Christ.

  • Serve the people God places in your life in a way that honors Christ.

The new Equip Education Series begins on Sunday, Sept. 12th at 9 am. Two courses will start, and each course is eight weeks long.  Childcare is available.

Brian Woodard is teaching a wonderful course titled “Defending Your Faith”.  It is a class that every believer should take, equipping you to answer questions like, “How can you know for sure that God exists?”, and “Why should I believe anything the Bible says?”. This class will increase your confidence in being ready to have an answer for your faith, as the Apostle Peter reminds us to do in 1 Peter 3:15 - "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”

I am teaching a class titled “Spiritual Leadership” using a text written by Henry Blackaby.  If you recall, he is the author of “Experiencing God”.  This course helps all of us embrace our calling as leaders, not just within the church but in our homes, our places of employment, our community, and beyond. We will focus on understanding the call that we all share, the biblical definition of spiritual leadership, the gifts our Lord has graciously given all of us to lead with, embracing our specific callings, and moving forward into our God-given roles as leaders.

If you have not registered yet, please do so at the Community Care table in the back of the worship room. If you are not able to register in person for the class, please send an e-mail with your name, e-mail address, and what course you are registering for to  info@reunioncommunity.org.

Be sure to invite friends and family to join you in our new Equip series as we move forward in faithfulness to become fully equipped for every good work.

Acts 2

The Fellowship of the Believers

And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
