WE LOVE GOD AND TEACH HIS TRUTH; WE CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER THROUGH FELLOWSHIP, COMMUNION AND PRAYER

Dear Parents,

Last year the youth accomplished many things. They raised money for several events, collected canned food for the West Side Food Bank, made care packages and wrote letters to the troops in Iraq and adopted two families over the holidays. They have been a huge blessing to the community and to Reunion Church.

This new year brings many challenges for all of us. This is going to be a fantastic year for your teen and I hope we can work together as a team, to ensure that your teen develops and strengthens their Christian walk. I believe as a youth leader God calls us to model solid biblical Christian leadership. I also believe that we need to continue to grow in our faith. We will continue to mentor the youth in leadership development, we will monitor their spiritual growth and motivate them through encouragement and feed back. Through all of this it will multiply their effectiveness in sharing their faith and skills with others.

This year we are planning outreaches, camping trips, all-nighters, bowling, broomball and scavenger hunts. We will also be going on a winter retreat this year.

We meet every Wednesday (7:00 till 8:30). Your teen is encouraged to bring friends to fellowship with other believers and non believers to share the word and learn about Christ in a fun and inviting environment. Every Sunday (9:00 A.M till Noon). Our main focus is on building a strong biblical foundation as well as encouraging others to attend church.

Beginning in a few weeks, we will be heading up discipleship classes. We have planned a very challenging and extensive curriculum. It will be a wonderful opportunity for your teen to grow spiritually. We will meet one on one with each teen as they feel they are ready.

We appreciate your teen very much, your feedback about your teen’s growth is important to us. Will you please continue to keep Reunion Church and the youth of Reunion in your prayers.

 God Bless You,

Steve Williams
