KFC – KIDS FOR
CHRIST CHILDRENS’ MINISTRY!
K-6th Grade
The Children’s Ministry at Reunion Church teaches our children about
who God is, how He works in our daily lives, and what it means to
have a loving relationship with Him. Children are learning the fundamentals of
the Christian faith, including an understanding of the Bible, God’s
character as revealed through Scripture, and how to have a personal
relationship with Christ. Our children are learning about
loving God and talking to Him, and they have fun in the process!
Along with a solid biblically based
teaching curriculum that lays strong foundations of faith, our
children enjoy a multitude of fun activities including hands-on
projects and skits.
The mission of the Children's Ministry
at Reunion Church is to teach children about God Himself, how to
grow in relationship with Him and others, and how to be responsible
and faithful human beings. The Children's Ministry provides a safe
and fun environment in which children are cared for and nurtured by
loving teachers.

 Sundays:
9:00am-10:15am
Sunday Mornings Kindergarten through sixth grade join together and
are taught by Dale Hipes and Heidi Hirt. Dale and Heidi encourage
and help our kids grow in their faith with Christ centered
Bible stories, crafts and games.
Sundays:
11:00am-12:00pm After joining us in our main service for
praise and worship, Kindergarten through sixth graders are dismissed
for "Kids for Christ" an energetic, Christ centered class just for
them. Kindergarten-3rd grade is taught by a Sherry Perry.
Sherry is the director of our Children's Ministry department. Her
experience and love for our kids are evident in each class she
teaches.
4th-6th grade is taught by Todd Bookout. Todd recently returned
from Southern Africa. His missions work there included sharing the
love of Christ with children in schools and churches. He has a
genuine enthusiasm for teaching kids and helping them find Christ.

our kids Bible activities that encourage and strengthen their faith.
Our kids are learning how to make Christ real in their every
day lives no matter how old they are.
Wednesdays: 7:00pm – 8:30pm Kindergarten through sixth grade meet together. Our
children are taught by Todd Bookout Wednesday evenings. They
are learning about heroes of the Bible. Todd
brings our kids awesome Bible Adventures complete with teaching, fun
and games.

Lil' Saints
Nursery and Preschool (Birth- Pre K)
Sundays:
Nursery and preschool are combined
during the 9:00 AM Community Growth hour in the nursery.
During our 10:30am Worship gathering,
Birth-2 year olds are cared for
in our nursery by Michelle Simmons and a regularly scheduled
volunteer from the Reunion community.
Preschool (3year olds-Pre-K) are
taught by Catie Hodgson in our preschool room. Catie has a heart for
sharing God's love. She spent part of her summer in the Philippines
and Southern Africa
ministering to the children there. Her music and drama experience,
along with her joyful spirit are an added blessing for our
children's ministry.
Wednesdays:
Nursery and Preschool are combined on Wednesday evenings for Reunion Midweek
in our Nursery.
Our nursery offers a safe and loving
environment for newborns to Pre-Kindergarten. Our goal for the
nursery and Preschool is to teach our youngest children about the wonders of God
in a way that is easy and fun for them to understand.
Each class begins with free
time. During this time the children are able to explore all of the
toys, books, puzzles, and coloring activities that we have available
for them. Next the children are seated for a much welcomed snack
and prayer. We then gather for our Bible story based on our
Children’s Church curriculum. The children then are able to express
their creativity through the complimentary art projects and songs
that accompany the curriculum.
